All our products are largely regional, organic and sustainable!

  • We get our game directly from the hunter
  • The beef is from Johann Holzmann from Werfen, who slaughters at home
  • Our bread is from the Hasslwanter bakery in Pfarrwerfen
  • Our eggs are organic, free range eggs from the Hühnerdorf in Wagrain
  • We source organic teas and coffee from Dallmayr

Animal welfare is of great importance to us and we only use high quality, animal-friendly products. 

Kaspressknödel, Speckknödel and all other dishes are freshly prepared by Dani and we do not use any ready-made products.

For this reason, there is no fixed menu, we offer a freshly prepared, seasonal menu

Our kitchen is Vegetarian and vegan friendly. We always have at least one vegan main and of course, and one vegan cake.

Our Parlors

The old parlor

In the old room, which is a listed building, you will find maps, coats of arms and pictures of numerous towns that still remind us of the East Prussian homeland of the founding fathers. In addition to pictures of Königsberg, Allenstein, Insterburg and other towns, real Kuren pennants from lagoon cutters hang in the hut. There is also a picture of the great Königsberg philosopher, Immanuel Kant.

The new room

In 2023, the Ostpreußenhütte was completely renovated. In the cozy new parlor you will find a wood-burning fireplace and a fully stocked modern alpine bar area. A truly great space to unwind and relax.
